The Christmas and New Year's festivities are barely over before it’s time for Epiphany! And the cake – or rather the cakes. Because we know how to celebrate all the most important events at Le Burgundy Paris, we’re getting 2017 off to an auspicious start. So our Chef proposes, not one but three differently flavoured King cakes.
What is happening on the 6th of December? It's the festival of Saint-Nicolas, of course! Saint-Nicolas is the patron saint of sailors and protector of children. Though followed more in eastern France and the north and north-east of Europe, Saint Nicolas certainly isn’t neglected at Le Burgundy Paris.
Thanksgiving is on the 24th of November! Family and friends will meet thought the US and the party promises to be fun with pumpkin pie and sweet potatoes on the menu. Everyone will be happy (except the turkeys of course) such as Louis and Victoire Burgundy who are already choosing their outfits. But why do we celebrate this day? Marie and Carl, who had planned the question, decided to investigate.
On October 31st, the Burgundy Paris celebrates Halloween! We await you, in the magical setting of our lobby, which has been decorated in orange especially for the occasion. The Burgundy family is highly excited as the date draws nearer. Louis is already trying out his most frightening face. As for Victoire, she’s hoping that Marie will make her the most beautiful witch dress ever. Our rallying cry: ‘Trick or treats’.
